Class Status:

Classes are in session and the next class will be Sensei Scotts last class. Sensei Ron will be taking over the Jeff City school and will be head instructor. Sense Scott will still be Master instructor over the Self – Defense academy martial arts Schools throughout Missouri. Sensei Scott will be moving to North Carolina. I would like to say that it has been a pleasure serving you all as a teacher and hope that God touches your life in beautiful ways. God bless you all.

Our Mission:
Our goal is to teach people about the beauty and changing power of Karate. Karate
improves self esteem, work ethic, concentration, physical stamina and many other things
about a person. We try to focus on the person and help them achieve a journey to better
themselves. God is the essential component to completing what we do, through God we
know how to face our opponent weather it be a personal battle or a physical battle. If we
let God's guidance help us, the best outcome will prevail. Combining Christian teaching and
the fundamentals of Karate really helps the class to be a complete teaching of a martial
arts. It is our hope that in some small way, though Christ we will be able give back to our
community and to help people improve their outlook on life.

About the Class:
We are a non traditional Karate class that focuses on the Students out look on self defense.
We teach the students that Karate is a last resort and that non violence is the best
out come to any violent situation. We try to help our students improve on traditional
values such as honesty, kindness and self respect as well as respect for others. We teach
full range fighting so you will learn Striking , Kicking, Take Downs and Ground
defense. We also teach tournament point sparring and Kata if the student is interested in
competing in tournaments. In the interest of cost for the parents we do not require the
child to purchase a uniform unless they plan to go to tournaments. All Karate classes are $20 a month. If you are having financial problems still check
us out we will see what we can do for you. Our main interest is giving back to the
community. All of our money goes to the church to do God’s will and for class expenses.
There are no testing fees or any hidden costs.

Classes are every Tuesday:
Kids classes are from 6PM to 7PM
Adult classes are from 8PM to 9PM.
